The New Mexico Professional Fire Fighters Association is in support of electing Judge Linda Vanzi to the New Mexico Court of Appeals. She is a very well-rounded, fair and experienced candidate, having served in that position for over a year as an appointee. Judge Vanzi has been a Judge since 2004, serving in the Second Judicial District Court. She is known for being strong, decisive and respectful of every participant in the process. 

It is important for any labor organization to be involved in the judicial system which will impact the outcome of labor issues and influence New Mexico ’s future labor law.  Having served as the Neutral/Chair on the TVI Labor Relations Board and as the Vice Chair of the New Mexico Public Employee Labor Relations Board, she is uniquely qualified to render educated, insightful decisions upon any future labor and employment cases which come to the Court of Appeals. We will know we have a qualified judge in Judge Linda Vanzi and urge all our fire fighters and other labor friends to support her.
