Update on: SB 62 PUBLIC EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT PAY CHANGES & SB 72 PERA SOLVENCY

Hello everyone, Senate Bills 62 and 72 made if through the Public Affairs Committee, but we're a long way away from protecting our pension and getting credit for all of the hours that we are required to work. The bills will be heard in the Finance committee this week (date and time still to be determined), so we need to show up to the State Capitol in huge numbers to show how important this is to us. If you can’t make it, at least reach out to the senators of that committee and let them know you support the reform that SB 62 and SB 72 provides. There are 12 senators on the Finance committee, and I'm asking you to reach out to all of them, or as many as you can. A little effort on your part goes a long way in letting them know what their constituents are thinking. I have provided their contact information below:
